A planet that is about twice the size of Earth has been found orbiting a nearby star in the constellation Cancer. This planet is much too hot for humans to ever live on. But the heat is very good for something else–creating diamonds! The planet is very rich in carbon, which is what diamonds are made of. The illustration above shows the planet with a layer of diamonds under its graphite surface.

 

Before they can fly in space, astronauts have to undergo hundreds of hours of training. This is split into three main sections

First, newcomers who want to qualify as astronauts have to pass a one-year course of basic training. The candidates learn about space technology and science, basic medical skills, and how the International Space Station (international space station) works. They also become familiar with scuba diving.

 

 

 

Why is it good to explore space?

You would find new information about space.

Be a famous explorer.

Find new interesting planets.

 It’s what any human would dream of.

      Disadvantages  

·       People can get very hurt.

·       Sometimes people die because of the pressure.

·       It will make you queasy and ill if you’re not used to it.

·       If there is no light from the sun it will be very dark.

·       You float about.

Advantages

·       You get to float about.

·       You are weightless.

·       Food fly’s everywhere.

·       You don’t need to have a 30min shower.

·       No school.

·       Water is big blobs.

 

What it is like to be an astronaut

It is a very nice feeling to be in space. It’s really fun because you get to fly around. It dose sometimes get boring cause you don’t have any internet connection to do stuff. But overall it’s pretty awesome to be in space and you get paid A LOT!!!!!!!

·       They spend a lot of money for going to space.

·       They can accidentally die because they won’t have enough oxygen.

·       In order to become famous in Space Explorations, countries sometimes fight over who would be the first one to explore something and make a breakthrough. Like it was with America and Russia.

·       They could crash in space and get hurt.

Life of an astronaut in space

§  The life of an astronaut in space is not that good. They have to be very carefully, for example they could die for not enough oxygen.

§  But in the other hand it is very cool and interesting to be in space. Because you can explore it and get to know new things and no gravity would be fun.

One of the good things about space is that you get to know a lot about our solar system what’s going to happen if there is a meteor going to hit a planet. The bad thing about space is that there are many risks that might occur during the journey, like if something goes wrong with the ship then you never know what will happen next… anything could happen, during the journey and sometimes life threatening risks can occur. Life of an astronaut in space is interesting exiting and scary at the same time, you may think that being an astronaut is easy but its more than you think... 

Astronauts eat dried foods, it is very different to normal foods, they have ice cream and all different sorts of things we have (except dried) the food is dried but after a few chews it appears to be mushy and normal, water is the same, but if astronauts drank water from a normal cup like us everything would spill in the air and fly away…

So being an astronaut is a big responsibility and other then the fact that is it hard and dangerous it is fun and it would be amazing to fly…

as well as given humanity some of its greatest achievements, such as walking on the moon. However, some people argue that the negatives outweigh the positives when considering the high costs and potential loss of human life.

 

Living in space
Living in space is not the same as living on Earth. In space, astronauts' bodies change. On Earth, our lower body and legs carry our weight. This helps keep our bones and muscles strong. In space, astronauts float. They do not use their legs much. Their lower backs begin to lose strength. Their leg muscles do too. The bones begin to get weak and thin. This is very bad for astronauts' bodies. So, how do astronauts help their muscles and bones? They must exercise in space every day.

 

Some of the benefits are that exploring gives a further vision of research into space, but there are disadvantages like astronaut getting weak bones if they don’t exercise. Another disadvantage is that it costs a lot of money. My view about space exploration is that it opens a window for a new generation of scientists and that it should go on, But from an astronauts point of view it might be claustrophobic and scary experience.

Living as an astronaut in space has good and bad sides.    

It’s very special because you can learn new and useful things and the sight is beautiful, but the bad side is how to live without gravity and you also can get ill, and after living in space your legs might never move again. We go into space to explore it and do nice experiments   about living there. From one of those experiments we came to know that there maybe is life on Mars. But the bad side is that they have spent a lot of money for this that they can use to help poor or ill people.

Space

space is big. So big that you don’t even know how big it is. I can look in every direction without find the end. Here is also cold. As cold as a deep Freezer, but colder. A bad point is that I need to wear a suit, every time I go out, for fresh air. But it’s so nice to be here and I feel very special to be one of the first to orbit Earth. On Earth we can’t see or feel our planet spinning, here in space we can. It doesn’t spin so fast, but fast enough to orbit itself once every twenty-four hours.

Benefits and disadvantges of space

The benefits of space are gathering information, so we know where our Earth is floating around. Some journalists train to be astronauts so they can venture out to space and write about it and science exploration. The disadvantages are its dangerous, it’s a waste of money and there is no point because so for there is no sign of life on any of the planets. In my opinion is it’s just a waste of money and time!  

SPACE

Living as an astronaut has a benefits but has some down sides.  Benefits

You get to see things that you have never seen before and have a great adventure.

Also you get to enjoy the life outside of Earth’s atmosphere   and discover new things. Also you can witness horrid and resplendent things.

Down sides

It is extremely expensive and very, very terrifyingly dangerous. You can get lost and suffocate.

The Advantages and Disadvantages of Space

Space can be dangerous but, is also good to learn about the universe that we don’t know about.

 Humans have also developed to create technology to protect us from the harm of space.

Space is a wonderful place to study about and to see, there are things that we have not seen and might not see but the things that we can see is better than nothing we are lucky to have this much technology.

Black holes are things to discover about and how the works, Wormholes have been photographed by the Hubble telescope.

The good thing about the money that people are spending to get to space is that students at school learn about space and might have a chance of going to space.

I think that we are spending money for nothing someone has already discovered space and has been on the moon what else is there spouse to be to discover?

Astronauts have a hard time living in space because they don’t have gravity to pull them onto the surface of the ship and have to work 2 and a half hours a day so there muscles don’t wear out; it is hard to have an astronaut’s life.

  The money spent to create the astronauts spacesuit is quite expensive, because so the astronauts don’t get hurt from the sun’s rays and the radiation in space.

Scientist is in charge to create the technology to make the spaceship and so nothing goes wrong.

The disadvantages of going into space are, you could get nausea, and your muscle could get weak, it’s extremely expensive to go to space.

The advantages of going into space are that you can learn and discover new planets.

The disadvantages of space exploration is that the astronauts have to go in to space for long time and it is kind of bad for them because when they stay in space their bone’s get to brittle so when they come back to earth they can’t walk .They get disorientated when they get in to space because they can‘t tell which is up and which is down that all .

In my opinion, going into space is a once in a lifetime chance despite the fact that there are dangers out there; black holes, suffocation (etc…).  We think that planet earth is unique although there may be unknown form of life on other unknown planets. Curiosity in space

In my opinion, going into space is a once in a lifetime chance despite the fact that there are dangers out there; black holes, suffocation (etc…).  We think that planet earth is unique although there may be unknown form of life on other unknown planets.  Curiosity is a cold spreading among the people.  For example scientists have a theory that there may have been, or still has life on mars.  I think that being in space is the best thing you could ever your do in life. Let’s tell you about the astronauts. Astronauts do lots of scientific experiments in space with technology the scientists provide. They only eat 3 meals a day which contains all the vitamins and minerals they need. Astronauts attach sleeping bags on the wall so they won’t float away (funny ha). Astronauts have to exercise 2 hours a day due to bone weakness.  We know you’re wondering how they walk on Earth when they come back from space  but don’t worry soon you’ll find out .

We think space exploration is good because astronauts could find out other materials and objects such as tin foil,scratch proof lences and much more in different atmospheres instead of our planet Earth, on the other hand going to space wastes alot a money  for the use of space ships and all the other materials they need to use because we already got the 'Hubble telescope' wich we could use. if you think about it we could spend the money on people who are starving with no food.
