The Dark Knight Rises


                  After seven years of the starting the Batman trilogy the legend is put to an end.Christopher Nolan returns to the directors chair, after four intense years of waiting Christopher Nolan decides to end it. With incredible and outstanding special effects and nail biting scenes the Dark Knight Rises is a movie to be seen.

Eight years have gone by in Gotham city Harvey Dent death, and was presumably killed by the Dark Knight making him a criminal in the people's eyes.Since then a law call the 'Harvey Dent' has been passed no crime has accured.But an 'unknown' terrorists called Bane(Tom Hardy), has something else planned. Christopher Nolan welcomes new characters like Catwoman( Anne Hathaway ), Talia Al Ghul (Mariam Carone ) and Robin ( Joseph Gordon Levitt). Christian Bale returns as Batman, Morgan Freeman as Mr.Fox and Michael Cane as Alfred.

The Dark Knight Rises received a n amazing rating score of 8.9 on IMDB and I as a comic book reader agree with their choice. The movie stays very true to the source material like the fact that Bane broke Batman's back. The main reason I like the movie is because of the amount of darkness and mystery in the movie including the relantionship in between Bane and Talia. Even though Batman fans were dissapointed because Heath Ledger couldn't come back as the Joker because he passed away. Even though I would have liked to see the Joker it would ahve been like pulling an old idea from the used idea box.

But don't worry the movie wasn't perfect it had flaws.Like at the end of the movie Joseph's character is revealed to be Robin, personally I would have liked to see character development because he is never  really explained. Secondly, in the comics Bane is a mexican wrestler who wears a mask but VChristopher's version seems to be American and was an old criminal. For me making a character realistic is very important.

Personally, I think this action,adventure,mystery movie is targeted for anyone who like superhero movies or just a good brain turner .This movie kept me thinking for weeks about it. It's a good trilogy to spend a night watching. As my sister would say 'Christopher Nolan is the only one who can direct superhero movie and I agree.
